Our Standards

Parents make real decisions based on what they read, so we hold every zayapol article to the same standards: be accurate, be clear, and be honest about what we know and what we don’t. This page explains how our content is researched, written, updated, and corrected.

How We Choose Our Sources

We build our guides on trusted, authoritative sources. When we research a topic, we prioritize, in this order:

  1. Government and public health agencies, such as the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), and the World Health Organization.
  2. Medical organizations, such as the American Academy of Pediatrics.
  3. University extension programs and peer-reviewed research.
  4. Established health publications that cite their own sources.

We avoid relying on forums, anonymous posts, and commercial claims as primary evidence. When reliable sources disagree, we say so and usually follow the more cautious guidance, especially on infant safety.

How We Write

  • Direct answers first. We start each section with a clear answer, then explain the details.
  • Specific and practical. We use exact numbers, such as ages, times, and temperatures, and link to where they come from.
  • Original wording. We paraphrase sources in our own words and never copy content from other websites.
  • Plain language. We write the way a knowledgeable friend would explain things, without jargon or unnecessary filler.
  • Safety notes. We include a medical disclaimer on health and feeding topics and point you to your pediatrician for personal advice.

Who Writes and Edits zayapol

zayapol articles are written and edited under the byline Daniel Hayes. Daniel is a writer and researcher, not a medical professional. Our content is general information, not medical advice. Please read our Medical Disclaimer.

Use of AI Tools

We sometimes use AI tools to help with research and first drafts. Every article is reviewed and edited by a person before it is published, and key facts are checked against the sources we cite. AI tools never replace human review on zayapol.

Updates and Reviews

Every article shows a “last updated” date. We review our articles regularly and revise them when official guidance changes, when new research appears, or when readers point out something that needs fixing.

Corrections

We make mistakes sometimes, and we want to fix them quickly. If you find an error or outdated information, email us at zayapol000@gmail.com or use our Contact page. We check each report against reliable sources, correct confirmed errors promptly, and note significant corrections on the article.
